Day 1: Arrival at Kochi

 

Arrive at Kochi and transfer to hotel.

 

Day 2: Explore Fort Kochi

 

In the morning, after breakfast, you will be introduced to our Royal Enfield 500cc Motorcycle. Our road Captain will make you understand the driving rules and tell you how to handle the Royal Enfield. Later explore the oldest Christian church in the country, Chinese fishing nets, and a 16th century synagogue. Kochi is also the best place to enjoy a Kathakali show, a traditional form of dance theatre.

 

Day 3: Fort Kochi – Munnar (145 Kms. – 5 hrs)

 

Ride to Munnar. Enjoy a day of riding through hilly roads, tea plantations and panoramic nature views.

 

Day 4: Munnar

 

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely Motorcycle ride in & around Munnar. Visit Mattupetty, which is famous for its highly specialized dairy farm, the Indo-Swiss live stock project. Over 100 varieties of high yielding cattle are reared here. Later visit Pothamedu, which offers excellent views of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations.

 

Day 5: Munnar – Kodaikanal (250 Kms. – 6-7 hrs)

 

Ride to Kodaikanal, one of the most popular hill resorts in India. See Berijam Lake, one among the beautiful lakes in this part of the country.

 

Day 6: Kodaikanal

 

After breakfast enjoy full day sightseeing in & around Kodaikanal. See the Kodai Lake, Kurinji Andavar Temple, waterfalls and Dolphin Nose.

 

Day 7: Kodaikanal – Periyar (160 Kms. – 5 hrs)

 

Ride to Periyar, which is amongst the best managed wildlife reserves in India and has large herds of Asiatic elephants, Indian bisons and tigers. The huge Periyar Lake is a birdwatcher’s delight. Try bamboo rafting or boating on the lake.

 

Day 8: Periyar – Kumarakom (140 Kms. – 5 hrs)

 

Ride to Kumarakom, a stunning backwater destination. The peninsula juts out into the Vembanad Lake that is dotted with many small islands. You can see traditional rice boats and canoes, and village life.

 

Day 9: Kumarakom – Kovalam (190 Kms. – 5 hrs)

 

Ride to Kovalam, perhaps the finest beach in South India. The white sands and coconut trees are sure to thrill you.

 

Day 10: Kovalam - Kanyakumari – Kovalam

 

After breakfast get ready for a Royal Enfield trip to Kanyakumari. Later ride back to Kovalam.

 

Day 11: Kovalam - Alleppey (180 Kms. – 5 hrs)

 

Today is the last day of your motorcycle tour. Ride to Alleppey, famous for its backwaters and beautiful houseboats. On arrival, leave your bike and check into a houseboat. Cruise in the houseboat through palm-fringed backwaters. Enjoy your farewell dinner with unlimited beer and sea food.

 

Day 12: Alleppey – Cochin airport/station

 

Morning checkout from the houseboat. We take you to Cochin airport/station by air-conditioned car.
