Lake-Land, Nainital

Day 1- Kathgodam – Mukteshwar

 

Arrive at Kathgodam railway station. On arrival pickup and transfer to Mukteswar later in the day, a small hill resort near to Nainital. Set atop a high ridge and surrounded by fruit orchard, Mukteswar is an ideal leisure destination. Overnight stay at Mukteswar.

 

Day 2- Mukteshwar – Binsar

 

Drive to Binsar, a Wildlife Sanctuary located near Almora town. At Binsar you will be surrounded by impenetrable Pine, Deodar and Oak forest with snow covered mountains on the region. Overnight stay at Binsar.

 

Day 3- Binsar – Chaukori

 

Drive to Chaukori, famous for its exquisite natural beauty, overlooking the mighty Himalayan peaks. Ideally set into lash green tea gardens Chaukori is heaven for the nature lovers. Enjoy the nature at Chaukori and overnight stay.

 

Day 4- Chaukori – Munsiyari

 

Drive to Munsiyari, famous for its breathtaking view of Pancha Chulli range. Located in the Gauriganga valley, Munsiyari is the starting point of many great Himalayan trekking route including Milam Glacier. On arrival check into hotel and overnight stay at Munsiyari.

 

Day 5- Munsiyari

 

With natures favor observe the sunrise on Pancha Chulli range with colour changing every passing moment. Later visit Maheshwari Kund, Thamari Kund, Darkot-a picturesque Himalayan hamlet etc. Overnight stay at Munsiyari.

 

Day 6- Munsiyari – Kausani

 

Drive to Kausani the picturesque hill station famous for its 300 km. panoramic view of Himalayan ranges including Pancha Chulli, Nandadevi and Trishul. Due to its picture-postcard like natural beauty, Kausani often referred as “Switzarland of India”. Overnight stay at Kausani.

 

Day 7- Kausani – Nainital

 

Transfer to Nainital. Nainital is the most famous hill station in Kumaun Himalaya established on the shore of Naini Lake. Nainital is a place where you can make yourself busy with activities around you or simply spend your time at the crowded Mall, testing food and watching people. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Nainital.

 

Day 8- Nainital

 

Visit some beautiful lakes like Sat Tal, Bhim Tal and Khurpa Tal. Also visit Naina Devi Temple, Ropeway, Cave Garden, Dorothy’s seat-a popular view point, Land’s End, Gurney House, ST, Jhons Church, Kilbury etc. Overnight stay at Nainital.

 

Day 9- Nainital - Kathgodam

 

Transfer to Kathgodam railway station. Service ends.
